Biography

Hi, I am Deng Junhao. I have been admitted to the School of Integrated Circuits at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) to pursue my Ph.D., with a research focus on Artificial Intelligence and Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI).

My core research and practical interests center around Artificial Intelligence, BCI data analysis, and embedded system design. I also serve as a reviewer for the IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS). From June to November 2024, I conducted research on EEG data analysis for BCI systems at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) under the supervision of Professor Dejan Marković. During this project, I focused on optimizing AI-based EEG emotion classification algorithms, and my research findings were accepted by the EI international conference 3DIT-MSP&DL 2024 as an independent author. Furthermore, as a core member of the Student Research Training Program (SRTP) at Southwest Jiaotong University, I developed a highly efficient fault diagnosis model for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFC) using neural network algorithms. Additionally, I participated in a National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project at the Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In this role, I applied deep learning algorithms for the real-time observation of RHEED to continuously control and improve the MBE process.

In terms of engineering practice and scientific innovation, I led my team as captain to win the National Second Prize in the China Collegiate Intelligent Robotics Creative Competition, and I have filed a related invention patent as the first author.

Recognized for my academic excellence, I was awarded the National Scholarship for Undergraduates for two consecutive academic years (2023-2024 and 2024-2025), the College Special Scholarship (2022-2023), and the honorary title of University-level Merit Student. Technically, I am proficient in programming languages such as Python, C, and C++, and highly skilled in using hardware and software development tools including Keil, VS Code, Altium Designer, and SolidWorks.

Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I have a diverse range of interests. I enjoy exploring the logical beauty of complex circuit diagrams and code. In my daily life, I stay active and energized by frequently playing tennis, working out, and swimming.
